Popular Abia OAP Arrested for Alleged Sodomy of Minor

The Abia Police Command has confirmed the arrest of Chigozie Anumudu, a popular On Air Personality known as Mc Manosky, for allegedly defiling a 15-year-old boy in Aba. The arrest was made on December 31, 2023, at Mr. Anumudu’s residence following a complaint lodged by the survivor’s father at the Eastern Ngwa Police Station.

Maureen Chinaka, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) in the state, disclosed in a statement issued to journalists in Umuahia on Saturday that Mr. Anumudu is currently being detained at the Estern Ngwa Police Station, Aba.

Contrary to initial reports, it was clarified that the accused is not a staff member of any radio station but operates as a freelancer within Aba’s radio stations. The survivor, whose identity is being withheld, narrated a distressing incident, alleging that Mc Manosky took him to a location around Addrexx Hotel in Aba, where he was assaulted.

The survivor stated, “Mc Manosky took me to a place around Addrexx Hotel in Aba and gave me bread to eat. I refused, then Manosky slapped me, I fell on the bed and he climbed on me. I automatically slept off, and when I woke up this morning, my anus was paining me badly. I asked Manosky what he did to me, and he threatened me that if I tell anyone, he will kill me.”

This grave accusation has sent shockwaves through the community, prompting an immediate police response. The police spokesperson emphasized that investigations are underway, and appropriate legal actions will be taken based on the outcome of the inquiry.
