Miracle After 12 Years: Winners Chapel Member Welcomes Quadruplets in Delta

Mrs. Gladys Okodo Omodiagbe, a member of Winners Chapel, broke into tears of joy at Coastal Specialist Clinic in Warri, Delta State, as she cradled her quadruplets after a 12-year journey of waiting.

Omodiagbe shared her remarkable story with the Tribune correspondent, highlighting the unwavering support of her husband, Mr. Amos Omodiagbe, and the understanding atmosphere created by her family and in-laws. She emphasized the importance of their encouragement throughout her waiting period.

“I got married in 2011, and though the years of waiting were challenging, I had a wonderful husband that gave me peace during my waiting period. My in-laws and family were a supportive system, and their unwavering belief in God made the journey easier,” she recounted.

Mrs. Omodiagbe revealed that her desire was initially to have one child to wipe away any perceived shame, but God granted her the unexpected blessing of quadruplets. After waiting for 12 years, she discovered she was pregnant in May 2023 and joyfully accepted the news of carrying four babies.

During the seven-month pregnancy, she faced complications, and the babies were born prematurely via Caesarean section in the seventh month. The quadruplets, three boys and a girl, spent an extended period in incubators due to their early arrival.

Despite challenges and rumors circulating about unpaid hospital bills, Mrs. Omodiagbe clarified, “The hospital did not hold us hostage. We are waiting for the last baby to come out of the incubator and working on getting funds to pay off our bill. If we can clear the bill, we will leave.”

She expressed gratitude for the support received from Living Faith Church (Winners Chapel) members and her family, debunking claims of being stranded in the hospital. Mrs. Omodiagbe shared her reliance on divine provision to meet the needs of her quadruplets amid economic challenges.

As the Omodiagbe family navigates the challenges of caring for four infants simultaneously, the Delta State government, Winners Chapel worldwide, and concerned individuals have been urged to assist in offsetting the hospital bills, emphasizing the family’s dedication to their faith.

This heartening tale of faith, perseverance, and the joy of motherhood serves as an inspiration, showcasing the strength found in the support of loved ones and the unwavering belief in the miraculous.
