Woman Rescued in Delta After Man She Met Online Lures Her to Bush, Transfers All Her Money, and Ties Her to Tree
A woman has been rescued in Delta State after an alleged assault involving a man she met online.
According to reports, the suspect invited her out but did not take her to a public location as expected. Instead, he allegedly led her to a bush area, accompanied by another man.
The victim was reportedly restrained and tied to a tree during the incident. She also claimed that the suspects transferred all the funds from her bank account while she was held against her will.
Members of a local vigilante group later intervened and rescued her. Details about the suspects and any arrests have not been confirmed as of the time of this report.
