Peter Obi Attends PDP Book Launch in Abuja, Stirs Speculation with Continued Silence

Former Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi was among the prominent guests at the launch of two new books chronicling the history and resilience of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Abuja on Wednesday. His appearance at the event, held at the Shehu Musa Yar’Adua Centre, comes at a time of heightened public curiosity over which political platform he will adopt for the 2027 presidential election.

Several notable political figures attended the launch, including former PDP presidential aspirant Alhaji Mohammed Hayatu-Deen, and Bauchi State Governor and Chairman of the PDP Governors’ Forum, Senator Bala Mohammed, who was represented by Director-General Emmanuel Agbo. Former Minister of Information Chief John Nwodo delivered the keynote speech titled “How Did We Get Here?”, which reflected on Nigeria’s political evolution and governance challenges.
