Supreme Court Confirms INEC Card Reader and PVC Contractor, Mohammed Sani as authentic senator elect of Niger East.
The supreme court on Friday sacked recently sworn in David Umaru as senator, and declared Mohammed Sani Musa, owner of ACTIVATE Technologies Ltd as valid candidate and senator elect of Niger East senatorial zone.
Both candidates are of the APC. And the dispute was over who won the primaries conducted in the zone by the party.
Mohammed Sani Musa had earlier won a high court case which was curiously upturned at the court of appeal.
Mohammed Sani Musa is believed to be the brain behind the electoral heist and manipulations of Card readers and PVC in 2015 and 2019.
The supreme court has asked INEC to immediately issue Sani a certificate and he is expected to be sworn in next week when the Senate resumes.
