Secondus to stay on as PDP National Chairman, but convention to hold earlier
The Governors forum of the People’s Democratic Party, members of the BoT, and other stakeholders rising from a meeting in Abuja, have unanimously agreed that, the National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Prince Uche Secondus should finish his tenure as the National Chairman of the party.
Aminu Tambuwal, governor of Sokoto state and chairman of the PDP governors forum, made an announcement after the closed-door meeting of the party stakeholders in Abuja.
He said “We are very happy to announce that we have discussed all matters and we have resolved to continue to work as a united family.”
He said that all decisions were taken in the interest of the party.
It was also however agreed that the National convention earlier scheduled for December would be held before the end of October.
