Mother, Son Die from Generator Fumes, Daughter Fighting for Life
In a devastating incident in Delta State, a mother and her son tragically lost their lives due to inhaling generator fumes, while the daughter has been hospitalized. This heartbreaking event unfolded in Asaba, as revealed by Bright Edafe, the Public Relations Officer of the Delta State Police Command.
According to Edafe’s statement on Wednesday via his official channel, the incident occurred on Monday when the family was asleep in their apartment. Amidst the rainy weather, the generator was brought indoors, inadvertently trapping the lethal emissions. Despite being unaware, they continued using it, eventually succumbing to carbon monoxide poisoning in their sleep.
