Lagos Coroner Court Summons Naira Marley, Sam Larry, Primeboy in MohBad’s Death Investigation

The Coroner Magistrate, Adedayo Shotobi, has issued a summons to prominent music figures in the Nigerian entertainment industry, including Abdulazeez Fashola, known as Naira Marley, Samson Balogun (Sam Larry), and Owodunni Ibrahim, alias Primeboy. This summons comes in connection with the tragic demise of Ilerioluwa Aloba, who was known by the stage name MohBad.

MohBad, a rising star in the music industry, met an untimely end on September 12, 2023. The circumstances surrounding his death have raised concerns and allegations of assault involving Naira Marley and his entourage.

The purpose of the summons is to facilitate an ongoing inquest conducted by the Coroner’s Court, aimed at uncovering the cause of MohBad’s death. This inquest will also investigate the events leading up to the tragedy and ascertain if any individuals are responsible.

The Coroner Magistrate, Adedayo Shotobi, has scheduled the appearance of the music stars on October 25. To ensure their presence, the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department, Panti, has been instructed by the court.

The Coroner’s Court is tasked with investigating deaths that are considered unnatural, violent, or where the cause remains unknown. In the case of MohBad, this investigation has garnered significant public attention, with allegations and concerns regarding his relationship with Naira Marley and the circumstances leading to his passing.

A viral video featuring MohBad’s mother revealed her claims that her son had faced disturbances and difficulties since Naira Marley entered his life. Naira Marley is renowned for being the owner of Marlian Music, the record label that once signed the late MohBad.

As the date of the court appearance approaches, many await the proceedings with keen interest, as they hope for answers and closure regarding the untimely death of the young music talent, MohBad.
