KWASU Computer Engineering Student Declared Missing

24-year-old Jimoh Abdulmueez, a student at Kwara State University (KWASU), has been declared missing. The computer engineering student was last seen on Thursday of last week, according to reports.

Jimoh, who resides in Ilorin, left the KWASU campus to return home but has not been sighted since his departure. Despite efforts to locate him, neither his family nor the university authorities have been able to establish contact.

On Friday, a formal report was filed at the police station, but as of now, no leads have surfaced. Desperate for information, Jimoh’s mother, Mrs. Jimoh Amdalat, has urged the public to come forward with any details about her son’s whereabouts and can be reached at 07030889682.

Despite attempts to reach the university’s spokesperson, Dr. Saeedat Aliyu, on Tuesday, there has been no response. However, an inside source revealed that Jimoh’s parents visited the institution but were unable to locate him.

According to reports, Jimoh left the KWASU campus around 7:00 pm on Thursday to head home but was notably absent on Friday when he was scheduled to take a test. Concerned friends attempted to contact him, but their calls went unanswered. Subsequently, Jimoh’s parents confirmed that he did not return home.

With growing anxiety, Jimoh’s parents reported his disappearance to the police, initiating an investigation. DSP Ejire Adeyemi Toun, spokesperson for the state police command, confirmed that the police have commenced efforts to unravel the mystery surrounding Jimoh Abdulmueez’s disappearance.
