JUST IN: Kidnapped Kebbi Schoolgirls Freed
Kidnapped students from Government Girls’ Comprehensive Secondary School in Maga, Kebbi State, have regained their freedom. Security sources familiar with the development confirmed that the girls were released on Tuesday morning following coordinated efforts involving the Office of the National Security Adviser and the State Security Service. The source declined to give further details but shared images showing the students after their release.
The students, 25 in number, were abducted on 17 November when armed attackers stormed the school. During the incident, the vice principal was killed, and one student managed to escape in the aftermath.
