Suspected Terrorists Attack Mosque in Kebbi, Kill Four and Injure Several
A mosque in Dadinkowa town, Maiyama Local Government Area of Kebbi State, was attacked by suspected terrorists during prayers, leaving four worshippers dead and several others injured.
Eyewitnesses report that the gunmen, believed to be affiliated with the Lakurawa group, arrived in the community heavily armed and entered the mosque, opening fire on worshippers gathered inside. Four people were killed instantly, while others sustained gunshot wounds of varying severity.
The injured were rushed to nearby medical facilities for treatment. The exact number of wounded has not yet been confirmed by authorities.
As of now, security agencies have not issued an official statement on the incident. Investigations are expected to determine the circumstances surrounding the attack and identify those responsible.
