“If They Don’t Count It, We Count the Person” – Peter Obi on 2027 Elections
Peter Obi, former presidential candidate and leader of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), has urged voters to safeguard their ballots during the 2027 general elections, warning against possible manipulation at polling stations.
Obi spoke on Saturday in Akwa Ibom State, where the Akwa Ibom State ObIdient Movement officially joined the ADC. He stressed the importance of citizen participation in ensuring transparent elections.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has set February 20, 2027, for the presidential and National Assembly elections, with governorship and State House of Assembly elections scheduled for March 6, 2027.
