“I Won’t Die Until I Father 32 Children” – Delta Musician Declares as He Marries Three Wives
Isoko highlife musician Dr. Arube Otor, popularly known as Isoko Fela, has reaffirmed his ambition to father 32 children, declaring that he will not leave this earth until he achieves that goal.
The 53-year-old musician, who already has nine children, took a bold step toward his target by marrying three women in a grand ceremony on Sunday, January 19, 2025. The wedding, held at the Anglican Church Field London Base in Uzere, Isoko South Local Government Area of Delta State, brings his total number of wives to four.
Born into a polygamous family, Otor embraces the lifestyle, recalling the peaceful coexistence of his father’s four wives during his upbringing. He believes polygamy fosters unity when properly managed and ensures his wives maintain a harmonious relationship. In resolving conflicts, he prefers mediation in the presence of all his wives so they can learn from each other’s experiences.
To manage expenses, Otor opted for a single reception for his three new wives, explaining that he had already paid their bride prices and they had been living together before the ceremony. The event featured music from the Performing Musicians Association of Nigeria, with logistics for refreshments carefully planned.
Despite his age, Otor remains confident in his ability to fulfil his marital responsibilities, attributing his vitality to a strict natural diet. He avoids rice and aphrodisiacs, believing they weaken men. Instead, he maintains a disciplined lifestyle that allows him to visit each wife weekly without neglecting any.
Looking ahead, Otor plans to expand his family further by marrying two more women, staying committed to his dream of raising 32 children.
