“God Told Me to Take People Back to Their Ancestral Roots” – Prophet/Traditionalist Yul Edochie
Actor Yul Edochie has set social media abuzz after unveiling a bold new chapter in his spiritual journey, declaring himself a Prophet and Traditionalist. In a poster shared on his official page, he introduced his ministry — True Gospel and Eternal Salvation Ministry — and claimed he received a divine instruction to lead people back to their traditional ways.
The poster carries a striking quote:
“God said to me, ‘Lead my people back to their traditional ways. For their ways are approved by me, the Lord God Almighty. There lies their salvation.’”
Backing up the message, Edochie wrote:
“Our ancestors are our guardian angels. The spirits in Igbo Land — Mmuo Ojukwu, Ogwugwu, Udo, Akpu, etc — are our own Angel Gabriel, Angel Michael, Raphael, etc. Activate them by practising (Omenaani) and watch them fight your battles. Anyone planning your downfall will go down.”
His declaration has sparked widespread reactions, with many weighing in on his merging of indigenous spirituality with prophetic teachings.
