“The Devil Controls Music Industry” – 9ice Claims on TV Show
Nigerian singer Alexander Adegbola Akande, popularly known as 9ice, has stirred controversy with his recent remarks about the music industry, claiming it is under the control of the devil. During a guest appearance on The Nancy Isime Show, the artist described the devil as “the choirmaster,” suggesting that many of the behaviors associated with musicians, including smoking, stem from spiritual influence.
According to him, aspiring musicians should be fully aware of the spiritual implications of entering the industry. “Music generally is controlled by the devil. If you’re coming to this industry, understand where you’re coming to,” he said.
9ice emphasized that his statements come from personal spiritual insight and not hearsay. “I’m not lying to you. He [the devil] is the most powerful angel. I’m speaking based on knowledge and what I’ve experienced spiritually,” he added.
