Why Peter Obi Cannot Be President of Nigeria Now — Yul Edochie
Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has said that Peter Obi cannot become President of Nigeria at this point, as political attention builds toward the 2027 general election.
In a post shared on April 21 via social media, Edochie dismissed Obi’s current political direction and suggested that his involvement with the African Democratic Congress (ADC) would not succeed.
He wrote:
“Any political party Peter Obi joins will scatter.
Whatever he’s doing with ADC is dead on arrival.
A total waste of time.”
Edochie further argued that the situation is not about surface-level political strategy but something deeper, although he did not elaborate on what he meant.
“It’s not a physical problem.
It’s deeper than that.
I’m surprised he doesn’t know this already.
Or maybe he knows but chooses to ignore it.
But the truth remains the truth.
Peter Obi cannot be President of Nigeria now,” he added.
