DAAR Communications Founder, Dokpesi Wins Polling Unit for PDP as Obaseki Takes Lead in 7 LGAs

A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), and founder of DAAR Communications PLC , High Chief Raymond Dokpesi on Saturday won his polling unit for the candidate of the PDP in Edo gubernatorial election, Godwin Obaseki.

According to results released by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), on Saturday, for polling Unit 8, Ward 1, Agenebode, Estako East Local Government, PDP scored 214 votes to defeat the All Progressives Congress (APC), that garnered 163 votes.
