Hon Nnamdi Egoigwe has obtained his Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to contest for the Onitsha North and South Federal Constituency seat in the House of Representatives ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The development confirms his formal entry into the race, following the completion of the party’s nomination process in line with established procedures and the timetable set by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
Speaking after securing the forms, Egoigwe said, “This step reflects my commitment to offering focused and responsible representation to the people of Onitsha North and South. Our constituency deserves a voice that is attentive to its needs and consistent in its actions.”
He added, “Legislative representation must translate into visible improvements in infrastructure, economic opportunities, and access to basic services. These are areas that require deliberate attention.”
On stakeholder engagement, he noted, “I intend to consult widely across communities, traditional institutions, and party members. Representation must be rooted in participation and accountability.”
Egoigwe’s declaration places him among the aspirants seeking the APC ticket for the constituency as political activities gradually intensify ahead of the elections.
