APC Governors Prioritise Jamboree To Welcome OGD over Insecurity Issues in The SouthWest

APC Governors are planning to attend a Jamboree in Sagamu to welcome former Ogun State governor Gbenga Daniel into their fold.

Daniel popularly known as OGD had already decamped heart and soul to APC after his protégé Dapo Abiodun became governor in 2019.

Daniel had sent a broadcast out to his friends and supporters intimating them of his plans to join the APC earlier today.

The text read:

“Dear Friends & Colleagues
Pardon my short notice in informing you of my route to the APC which as you might have suspected started with my supporting Governor Dapo Abiodun during the last election.
I have since experienced an avalanche of encouragement to come on board.
However in the last 48 hours things took a dizzying speed with the decision of the APC National Chairmans request to visit me at Asoludero on Wed with about 3 Governors. While planning for the visit Governor Abiodun also decided to visit me later today with another set of Governors later today. It therefore mean that I have finally been ‘captured’
I thought I should quickly brief the house before the news go viral. Thanks for your understanding.”

The official event will take place tomorrow February 17th 2021 in Sagamu at 10am.

Expected to attend are APC caretaker chairman, Mallam Mai Bunu, governor of Kaduna state Mallam Nasir El Rufai, governor of Kebbi State Atiku Bagudu and the governor of Jigawa state, Baduru Abubakar.
