“Yahoo Boy Who Confined Lady for Ritual Arrested” – FCT Police

The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command has confirmed the arrest of an alleged internet fraudster accused of confining a young woman for money rituals in Abuja. This operation was carried out by the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC).

In a statement released on Thursday night, Police Public Relations Officer SP Josephine Adeh revealed that the police are awaiting the NSCDC to transfer the suspect into their custody for further investigation.

The incident gained widespread attention after a video surfaced on social media, showing a young lady tied up in a room at the Top View Hotel in Wuse, Abuja. She was reportedly held by her boyfriend for ritual purposes.

SP Adeh stated, “The NSCDC has taken the suspect into custody and has yet to hand him over to the police for thorough investigation. The FCT Police Command is prepared to commence a diligent and discreet inquiry once all parties are transferred.”
