“Those Who’ll Rescue Nigeria Not Yet Born” – Joe Igbokwe Mocks Tinubu Government
Prominent All Progressives Congress (APC) member, Joe Igbokwe, has expressed frustration over Nigeria’s rising economic hardships, particularly the soaring cost of food items. In a recent Facebook post, Igbokwe remarked that the individuals who will rescue Nigeria from its current challenges are yet to be born.
His comments came as food prices, notably the price of rice, continue to skyrocket, with reports indicating that a bag of rice now costs over N100,000. “Despite the numerous rice mills in Nigeria, my wife just informed me that a bag of rice is now N100,000 plus,” Igbokwe lamented.
Known for his support of President Bola Tinubu, Igbokwe’s recent statements signal growing dissatisfaction with some policies of the current administration, as Nigerians grapple with the rising cost of living.
