PDP Will Soon Lose a Governor to Another Party – Primate Ayodele

Primate Elijah Ayodele, the leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has predicted that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is on the verge of losing one of its governors to another political party. This revelation was made in a statement signed by Ayodele’s media aide, Osho Oluwatosin.

According to Primate Ayodele, the current leadership of the PDP, under its chairman Umar Damagum, is steering the party towards failure. The religious leader ominously warned that if changes aren’t made soon, the PDP might cease to exist before the 2027 elections.

“The PDP will soon lose a governor because the party is in a mortuary state. With Damagum as chairman, the party cannot succeed,” Ayodele said. He urged the party to consider former Senate President David Mark or ex-Benue State Governor Gabriel Suswam as potential leaders capable of reviving the party from its current struggles. He expressed confidence that either of the two could lead the PDP back to political relevance, provided they have the support of party members.

In a broader message to the PDP, Ayodele advised the party to establish a reconciliation committee to tackle internal conflicts and position itself for the 2027 elections. He also proposed a merger with the Labour Party, noting that such a move would signal a serious approach to reclaiming political ground.

“A reconciliation committee is necessary if they want to survive,” Ayodele stated. “The PDP has much to do ahead of 2027. They should merge with the Labour Party to show seriousness. The APC has even attacked the Labour Party spiritually.”
