Tension in Delta Community as Two Die in Drinking Competition, Others Hospitalized
Two individuals have been confirmed dead following a drinking competition in Agbarha community, Delta State. The tragic incident occurred when participants, aiming to win a prize of N100,000, consumed large amounts of a substance believed to be alcohol.
Reports suggest the competitors attempted to finish full bottles of the substance in a single sitting, which led to their sudden collapse and death. Two other participants were rushed to the hospital and are currently being resuscitated.
Authorities have not yet released an official statement, and investigations into the incident are ongoing. Police are expected to provide more details soon.
