Soludo Visits Ex-Governor Obiano Amid Ongoing N4bn Fraud Trial
Anambra State Governor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, demonstrated support for his predecessor, Chief Willie Obiano, who faced a N4 billion fraud trial on Wednesday. The former governor, following the court proceedings, had his passport confiscated, barring any international travel.
Governor Soludo, in a visit to Obiano in Abuja on Thursday, engaged in a two-hour discussion with the embattled former governor. While details of their conversation were not disclosed, Soludo expressed optimism, stating that, “By His grace, this one too shall pass.”
Accompanied by the National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Sly Ezeokenwa, Governor Soludo shared the solidarity visit on his verified Facebook page. The visit comes at a crucial time for Obiano, emphasizing political camaraderie amidst legal challenges.
