Shock in Abia as Popular School Teacher Found Dead in Moving Tricycle
A 51-year-old woman, Mrs Emmanuel Love Onuora, was discovered dead in a moving tricycle in Aba, Abia State, on Tuesday, July 29. Mrs Onuora, a well-known teacher at a private school in the city, had boarded the tricycle for a routine trip along Aba Road.
The tricycle was operated by Mr Okechukwu Sunday, a resident of Aba originally from Anambra State. During the journey, another passenger was picked up. It was this passenger who noticed that Mrs Onuora had become unresponsive. Despite repeated efforts to revive her, she remained unconscious.
The driver immediately alerted officers at the Area Command in Aba. The authorities quickly transported Mrs Onuora to St. Francis Hospital, where she was pronounced dead. Her body has since been deposited at the mortuary.
The Abia State Police Command has launched an investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding her sudden death.
