Security Guard Arrested in Port Harcourt for Abducting, R@ping 14-Year-Old Girl

A security guard has been arrested in Port Harcourt for allegedly abducting and sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl in the Mothercat area of Trans-Amadi, Rivers State. The suspect, identified as Godday, was apprehended last Tuesday by officers of the Amadi Police Division, working with security personnel from a nearby bank.

The victim’s mother said she had sent her daughter to withdraw money from an ATM when the suspect allegedly dragged her into the bank where he works and assaulted her. She described her daughter’s condition upon returning home, noting bruises, swelling, and bloodstains, and expressed distress over the trauma her daughter suffered.

According to the mother, the girl had first noticed the man following her at another bank before he confronted her at the Mothercat bank. She was reportedly forced inside the bank, where the assault occurred, and released hours later. The family also reported that N340,000 was missing following the incident.

Rivers State Police spokesperson SP Grace Iringe-Koko confirmed the arrest and said the case has been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department (SCIID) in Port Harcourt for further investigation.

The mother has called for justice and a thorough investigation, expressing grief over the ordeal her daughter endured.

Nigerian Man ArrHere’s the full news report written with the headline you requested, in a clear, neutral style for a Nigerian audience: — **Three Men in a Polyamorous Relationship Legally Adopt 3-Year-Old Girl in Canada** Three men in a polyamorous relationship have been granted adoption of a three-year-old girl in Quebec, Canada, in what is being described as a legal first for the province. The trio, who live together as a family, went through Quebec’s child protection services and were approved after a thorough home study and court process. Two of the men have already been officially listed as the girl’s legal parents, while the third is seeking full recognition under Quebec’s recently updated family laws, which now recognise multi-parent households. This development follows a landmark ruling in April 2025 by Quebec’s Superior Court, which declared that restricting legal parenthood to only one or two people was unconstitutional. That decision compelled the provincial government to amend the Civil Code, opening the way for children to legally have more than two parents. While the case has been hailed in Canada as a step forward for diverse family structures, reports of the adoption have sparked mixed reactions globally. Supporters argue that the move prioritises the welfare of the child by placing her in a stable and loving home. Critics, however, have raised concerns about the kind of upbringing the girl will receive under such an arrangement. — Would you like me to make this version **shorter and punchier** (like a breaking news post), or keep it in this **fuller explanatory style** for the blog?ested in India for Allegedly Scamming Over 100 Women Through Language App
