Police Launch Manhunt for Suspect in 21-Year-Old Girlfriend’s Murder
The Lagos State Police Command has declared Benjamin Best Nnanyereugo, known as Killaboi, as a wanted man in connection with the brutal murder of his 21-year-old girlfriend, Augusta Onuwabhagbe Osedion.
The spokesperson for the command, Benjamin Hundeyin, issued a statement on Tuesday, revealing that Killaboi, a 26-year-old resident of Oral Estate, Ajah, is the prime suspect in the homicide case, which took place on July 13, 2023. Hundeyin stated that the decision to declare him wanted was made after exhausting all available avenues to apprehend him.
Killaboi, described as approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall, originally hailing from Abia State, possesses a dark complexion and fluently speaks English, Igbo, and pidgin English.
The statement concluded with an urgent plea to the public: “If seen, please contact the nearest police station or call 0803 688 5727.”
The investigation into this tragic incident is ongoing as authorities work tirelessly to ensure justice is served for Augusta Onuwabhagbe Osedion.
