Police Arrest Islamic Cleric in Ondo State with Human Hands, Six Kidneys, Three Hearts
The Nigeria Police Force has apprehended an Islamic cleric, Oluwafemi Idris, in Ondo State on charges of possessing human body parts. The arrest took place in the Akoko area, where police discovered a disturbing cache of remains in Idris’s residence, including human hands, three kidneys, three hearts, a spine, and a tongue.
According to sources, the search was conducted following a tip-off, which led to the grim discovery. Idris has reportedly claimed that the human parts were supplied by his associates, including another cleric identified as Alhaji and one Samuel Kutelu. Additionally, Idris is alleged to have provided three human heads to an individual named Babatunde Kayode, who has also been taken into custody.
This arrest follows a previous incident from October, where four Nigerians confessed to the murder and trafficking of human parts for ritualistic purposes. A video posted by Instagram user Temilolasobola revealed the confessions of individuals involved in trading body parts, shedding light on their gruesome activities.
One of the suspects admitted to purchasing a human head for N20,000, intending to use it for a ritualistic charm. The body parts trader, Monsuru Tajudeen, detailed how he obtained and sold the body parts, including a recent case where he and his accomplices killed a person for their ritualistic needs.
The investigation continues as authorities work to unravel the full extent of these criminal activities and bring those involved to justice.
