PDP Executives in Isi North Ward 7 Deny Suspending Deputy National Youth Leader

In a resolute and unequivocal response, nine prominent executives of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) hailing from Isi North Ward 7 in the Uhunmwonde local government area of Edo State have categorically denied any involvement in the purported suspension of the Deputy National Youth Leader of the party, Mr. Timothy Osadolo.

A formal letter addressed to the Edo State PDP Chairman, Honorable Tony Aziegbemi, dated September 22, 2023, has surfaced, refuting the alleged suspension and expressing unwavering support for Osadolo’s leadership within the party. The letter, a copy of which was made available to Vanguard on Sunday, was signed by several key ward executives, including the Ward Chairman, Mr. Sunday Eguabor, Vice Chairman, Mr. Jolly Emumwen, and Ward Secretary, Mr. Efenudo David, among others.

The communication conveyed a strong and unified message: “Our attention has been drawn to a letter sent to your office, stating that we, the Executives of Isi North, Ward 7 of Uhunmwonde Local Government Area, met and resolved to suspend the Deputy National Youth Leader of our Party. It is not true.”

“We have no reason to suspend the Deputy National Youth Leader. If at all, we will write to appreciate and commend him for all he is doing for the party.”

The letter continued to affirm their steadfast belief in Timothy Osadolo’s leadership and contributions to the PDP: “Consequently, we, the undersigned, wish to state categorically that Hon. Timothy Osadolo, the Deputy National Youth Leader of the PDP, is from our ward, Ward 7 of Uhunmwonde Local Government Area, and that we believe in him and have no doubt in his leadership. We pass a vote of confidence on him. We love and respect him, and we will resist any attempt to slight or suspend him.”

The emergence of this letter serves as a clear indication that internal dynamics and unity within the PDP in Isi North Ward 7 remain intact, despite earlier reports suggesting otherwise. Timothy Osadolo, buoyed by this show of support, continues to play an influential role within the party as Deputy National Youth Leader, demonstrating that the PDP’s local leadership stands firmly behind him.
