Pastor Paul Enenche Declines N30 Million Donation from Kebbi State Governor
Dr. Paul Enenche, Senior Pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Centre, has declined a N30 million donation from Kebbi State Governor Nasir Idris, urging that the funds be redirected to orphanages or other charitable causes. The incident took place during a recent large-scale outdoor evangelical crusade organized by the church in Kebbi State.
The donation was publicly announced by the Commissioner for Social Duties, Zayyanu Umar Aliero, who represented the governor at the event. Addressing the crowd, Aliero described the cash gift as a token of appreciation from Governor Idris for Pastor Enenche’s visit and his spiritual outreach to the people of the state.
Pastor Enenche, appearing visibly surprised, responded immediately and graciously turned down the offer. Speaking to the audience, he expressed gratitude for the governor’s generosity but firmly declined to accept the funds on behalf of the church.
“We sincerely appreciate the gesture and the governor’s generous heart,” Enenche said. “But we will not take this money. Please channel it instead to orphanages or any other charitable institution of your choice.”
Governor Idris’s representative acknowledged the pastor’s request and responded with appreciation for his humility and dedication to the gospel.
