Ogun Police Alert Public to Rising Cases of Missing Persons

 

 

The Ogun State Police Command has raised concerns over a notable surge in missing persons’ reports, spanning all age groups. In a statement issued on Tuesday, the Command’s Public Relations Officer, CSP Omolola Odutola, emphasized the gravity of the trend, noting that while some individuals are successfully located, many remain unaccounted for.

 

CSP Odutola stated that the Command is committed to addressing the issue through increased public awareness and collaboration. She urged residents to remain vigilant and adopt precautionary measures to safeguard themselves and their loved ones.

 

The Commissioner of Police, CP Lanre Ogunlowo, PhD, has also introduced measures aimed at enhancing public safety. Parents are advised against allowing their children to use commercial transportation services with unfamiliar individuals. Additionally, young people are encouraged to utilize digital communication features on their mobile devices to ensure they can share their locations or signal for help when needed.
