Nigerian Army Troops Ambush Terrorists On Transit To Cause Havoc In Kaduna, Neutralize 2, Recover Arms
The Nigerian Army troops engaged in counter-terrorism and counter-insurgency operations in the North West region successfully ambushed and neutralized two terrorists in Kaduna on April 13, 2024. The operation took place in Rafin Sariki Village of Giwa Local Government Area as a response to intelligence reports of terrorists transiting with a sack containing weapons.
The troops set up an ambush and engaged the terrorists in a gun battle, resulting in the neutralization of two of the terrorists. During the operation, the troops recovered one AK-47 rifle, 52 rounds of 7.62mm special ammunition, and one locally fabricated revolver frame.
The Nigerian Army remains steadfast in its commitment to ensuring the safety and security of the nation and its citizens. It continues to take decisive actions against terrorist activities in the region to maintain peace and order.
