Nicki Minaj Files Lawsuit Against Nigerian Influencer for Cyberbullying
US rapper Nicki Minaj has taken legal action against Nigerian social media influencer Dr Penking, citing cyberbullying and copyright infringement.
The dispute arose after Dr Penking posted an old video of Minaj on X last Saturday, accompanied by the caption, “Nicki Minaj should understand that she has gotten old and retire.”
Minaj questioned whether he had permission to use the video and accused him of using it to harass her. She confirmed that he has been named in her lawsuit.
“Do you have permission to use this video that I filmed years ago to harass me on this or any platform? You’ve just been added to the suit,” Minaj wrote in response.
