“Don’t Beg Me for Money After 2027” — 2Shotz Slams Igbos Supporting APC, Calls Them ‘Fools’
Nigerian rapper 2Shotz has criticized some members of the Igbo community for supporting Nigeria’s current administration, saying their actions contradict ongoing political grievances in the region.
In a post shared on Instagram, the rapper said he recently watched a video showing Seyi Tinubu at a political gathering in Imo State. According to him, he was disturbed by the reception the political figure received, particularly the chants and praise directed at him and the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
2Shotz argued that such displays of support were troubling given that Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), remains in detention. He said it was contradictory for people to celebrate leaders associated with the current government while a prominent figure linked to Igbo political agitation is still in custody.
The rapper described Igbo supporters of the administration as “fools” and claimed their actions suggest the APC could retain power in the 2027 elections.
He also warned that if the party wins again and economic conditions worsen, people should not reach out to him on social media asking for financial assistance.
