Lawyer Collapses, Dies Outside Port Harcourt Courthouse
A legal practitioner identified as Eze Agala collapsed and tragically passed away just outside the Magistrate Court building on Moscow Road, Port Harcourt. The incident has left colleagues and the legal community in Port Harcourt in a state of shock and confusion.
Hailing from Ibaa in Emohua Local Government Area of Rivers State, Eze Agala reportedly slumped immediately upon exiting the courtroom. Prompt efforts were made to rush him to the Police Clinic, where he was sadly confirmed dead.
As of now, the leadership of the Port Harcourt branch of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) has not issued a statement on the incident. However, Felix Ashimole, another lawyer in the state, seemed to acknowledge the tragic event through a WhatsApp message shared on various platforms.
