JUST IN: Governor Soludo Reacts to Senator Ifeanyi Ubah’s Death
The Governor of Anambra State, Professor Chukwuma Soludo, has expressed his shock and sorrow over the death of Senator Ifeanyi Ubah. In a heartfelt post on his verified Facebook page, Governor Soludo paid tribute to the late senator, highlighting his contributions to Anambra State and Nigeria.
“I am deeply saddened by the sudden passing of my dear brother and friend, Senator Ifeanyi Ubah. His untimely death is a huge loss to Anambra State and Nigeria. As a prominent son of Anambra, Senator Ubah made significant contributions to our state and nation through his business acumen and philanthropic efforts. We will miss his passion for our state’s progress, despite our political differences,” Soludo wrote.
Governor Soludo extended his condolences to Ubah’s family, friends, and loved ones, saying, “My heartfelt condolences go out to his family, friends, and loved ones. May his soul rest in perfect peace and may we find strength in his remarkable legacy.”
Senator Ifeanyi Ubah, an influential member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and a senator representing Anambra South, died in a hotel in London reportedly from heart attack. He had traveled to the city just two days before his death.
