JUST IN: Gov Soludo Sacks Obidiegwu, Appoints Molokwu as ABS Managing Director

The Governor of Anambra State, Professor Chukwuma Charles Soludo, has announced a leadership change at the Anambra Broadcasting Service (ABS). In a statement released by Christian Aburime, Press Secretary to the Governor, it was confirmed that Mr. Chido Obidiegwu has been replaced as Managing Director of ABS. The new appointee, Mr. Christopher Osemedua Molokwu, assumes the role with immediate effect.

Mr. Molokwu, a highly experienced media professional, hails from Delta State and brings over 16 years of expertise in media production, strategic planning, and event management. Prior to his appointment, he served as Programs Manager at Wazobia FM Onitsha and Head of Sports at Steam Broadcasting Limited (96.9 Cool FM).

A graduate of the University of Benin with a degree in English Language and Literature, Molokwu is a member of the Institute of Disaster Management and Control and an associate member of the Advertising Practitioners Council of Nigeria (APCON). His appointment is expected to usher in a new era of growth and innovation for ABS.

The Governor, through his Press Secretary, expressed his appreciation to Mr. Obidiegwu for his service and wished him well in his future endeavors. Governor Soludo also urged Mr. Molokwu to align with the administration’s vision of transforming Anambra into a livable and prosperous state.
