JUST IN: FCT Police Command Confirms Capture of Notorious Abuja Kidnapper Chinaza Philip
The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command has officially confirmed the apprehension of Chinaza Phillip, a notorious kidnapper operating in Abuja. The arrest took place in Kaduna as Phillip, along with his accomplices and victim, Segun Akinyemi, was en route to Kano State.
SK Blog reported the dramatic events, detailing a fierce exchange of gunfire between Phillip’s gang and law enforcement. The successful operation resulted in the rescue of Akinyemi, an Abuja resident abducted from his home just a day earlier.
According to Kaduna’s Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Mansir Hassan, the police acted swiftly in response to a distress call. The kidnappers had been transporting Akinyemi from Abuja to Kano when law enforcement intervened.
In a related development, FCT Minister Nyesom Wike, during a town hall meeting in Gwagwalada, announced the arrest of informants collaborating with kidnappers. Speaking in pidgin, the minister reassured residents that the government is committed to protecting lives and property.
Wike declared, “The president has asked me to assure you that he will not abandon you. So, all these criminals, be ready. Your time is up.” He warned informants and criminals that their activities would be closely monitored, promising swift and decisive action in collaboration with security agencies.
