JUST IN: Chelsea Crowned World Champions After 3-0 Win Over PSG
By Arthur Maduka
Chelsea delivered a stunning performance at MetLife Stadium, defeating Paris Saint-Germain 3-0 to win the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup. Cole Palmer struck twice in the first half before João Pedro added a third just before halftime, capping off a dominant display against the reigning European champions.
PSG’s frustration boiled over late in the match, with João Neves shown a red card for pulling Marc Cucurella’s hair, moments before manager Luis Enrique clashed with João Pedro at full-time. Despite being underdogs, Chelsea claimed their second Club World Cup title—having first lifted the trophy in 2021—and now reign as world champions once again.
