“I Will Win the 2027 Presidential Election,” Says Kwankwaso

Dr. Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso, the National Leader of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), has expressed confidence in securing victory in the 2027 presidential election. The former 2023 presidential candidate made this bold statement during the inauguration of the NNPP Secretariat along IBB Way, Katsina, on Saturday.

Kwankwaso’s visit to Katsina was also part of a condolence trip to the Yar’Adua family following the death of their matriarch, Hajiya Dada. While addressing party members and supporters, Kwankwaso declared that the NNPP was poised to win the presidency, state governorships, and other key positions in the next general election.

“The NNPP is ready to take over leadership at all levels across the country in 2027,” Kwankwaso said, emphasizing that the party’s foundation was strong enough to ensure success. He also pointed to the decline of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), stating, “The PDP is already dead, and we’ve left it behind after they lost their way.”

Kwankwaso urged Nigerians, particularly women and youth, to avoid being swayed by temporary incentives like money or food during the election campaign. Instead, he called on the party leadership and supporters to intensify their efforts toward a resounding victory.

In addition to political matters, Kwankwaso pledged personal support to Abubakar Ibrahim, a young boy from Yammawa, Katsina, suffering from severe acute malnutrition.

NNPP Katsina State Chairman, Armaya’u Abdulkadir, also addressed the gathering, highlighting the importance of educating voters about the party’s new logo, which symbolizes the party’s commitment to “education for all.” He stressed the need for grassroots campaigns to familiarize members with this emblem and its significance to the NNPP’s mission.

As preparations for the 2027 elections gain momentum, Kwankwaso’s leadership is expected to play a critical role in shaping the future direction of the NNPP.
