“I Will Choose the Day I Pass Away, and Nobody Will See My Remains” — Odumeje

 

Chukwuemeka Ohanaemere, widely known as Odumeje, has once again sparked conversation with remarks about his mortality, telling his congregation that he will determine the day he dies and that his remains will not be seen. The Anambra-based clergyman made the declaration during a recent church service, in a video that has since circulated widely online.

 

In the footage, Odumeje said, “I will choose the day I pass away, and nobody will see my remains,” adding, “I never die. I live forever. And I repeat it more and more when I die no one can see my corpse and that is not a cruise. It is a fact.”

 

This is not the first time Odumeje has shared such sentiments. He previously described his death as a moment when he would simply “fly away,” emphasizing that no one would witness his corpse. The latest sermon follows a recent social media post in which he similarly stated that his remains would remain unseen when he transitions.

Yes it’s possible. If he chooses a day, go to the bank of river niger, tie a rope to a big stone, tie same to his neck and fall inside the water. He will die inside the water and will not float. By so doing, he has died and his corpse not seen. Kaji kwo?
