The counsel to the former Chairman of the Pension Reform Task team Abdulrasheed Maina has officially withdrawn from the trial.
The counsel, Ademola Adedipe applied to withdraw from the money laundering case brought against client by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
He has however, being granted leave by the Federal high court.
He was granted leave on grounds of him not being paid for his services and being unable to locate Mr. Maina who engaged him to represent the company listed as the second defendant in the case.
