FG resolved to reduce youth restiveness in Abuja – FCT Minister
The Federal Capital Territory Administration says it is working to reduce youth restiveness and unemployment through skills acquisition training.
Sani El-Katuzu, FCTA education secretary, stated this while inaugurating a fashion hub by the Abuja Enterprise Agency (AEA) and the launch of a free skills acquisition training at FCT Department of Mass Education.
Mr El-Katuzu urged youths and women in the FCT to embrace the acquisition programmes.
FCT Minister Muhammad Bello said he was resolved to reduce youth idleness.
“The FCT administration is making frantic efforts to emphasise on the importance of marketable skills acquisition training toward wealth creation and poverty eradication,” AEA managing director Shehu Abdulkadir said. “We are very happy with this partnership with the Department of Mass Education. That is the only way to go about it, synergy. They have the facilities, we provide the machines. We are determined to work together to achieve the FCT free of poverty and youth restiveness.”
