Ex-Minister Resigns from APC
Former Minister of Environment, Barrister Mohammed Hassan Abdullahi, has resigned from the All Progressives Congress (APC), ending a long association with the ruling party in Nasarawa State.
Abdullahi, who previously served as Minister of State for Science and Technology before being appointed as Environment Minister under former President Muhammadu Buhari, submitted his resignation on Sunday. The letter was addressed to the APC chairman in Uke Ward, Karu Local Government Area, and was also copied to other party officials.
The former minister, who once held the position of Secretary to the State Government under former Governor Tanko Almakura, cited personal reasons for his decision to leave the party. In his letter, he thanked the APC leadership for the platform to serve and for the support he received throughout his political journey.
“I wish you and the party good luck,” Abdullahi wrote, signaling a quiet but firm exit from the political structure he helped build in the state.
