Defiant Oshiomhole Insists He is Still APC Chairman Despite Court Order
Embattled National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Adams Oshiomhole has insisted he remains the chairman of the party despite the order of an Abuja Federal High Court early Wednesday that barred him from parading himself as the chairman.
Reacting to the Court order, the Chief Press Secretary to Oshiomhole, Simon Ebegbulem said the Chairman is not going anywhere as he had filed a stay of execution of the judgement through his lawyers.
“Our legal department is studying the matter and we have filed for a stay of execution and appealed the ruling.
“With those processes, Oshiomhole remains the National Chairman of the party,” Ebegbulem said.
