Breaking: court of appeal upholds high court ruling on Ebonyi governor, David Umahi, deputy’s defection to APC
Justice Oyewole of the Enugu Court of Apeal has upheld the decision of the Ebonyi state high Court that declared the judiciary has no powers to declare the seats of governors or their deputies vacant.
An Abuja High Court presided over by Justice Inyang Ekwo had sacked Umahi, Igwe and 17 lawmakers in the state for defecting from PDP to the APC.
