Bola Tinubu wins primaries and declared the standard bearer of the APC
The National leader of the All Progressive Congress APC and former governor of Lagos State, Bola Ahmed Tinubu has been declared as the standard bearer of the party at the 2023 Presidential Elections.
The results as announced at the Special convention of the party held at the Eagle Square Abuja had Bola Tinubu polling 1271 delegates zone and distantly followed by former governor of Rivers State and former minister of Transportation Rotimi Amaechi polling 316 votes and the Vice President of Nigeria Prof. Yemi Osinbajo polling 235 votes.
With this victory, Bola Ahmed Tinubu would be flying the flag of the All Progressive Congress APC at the 2023 elections.
In his acceptance speech Tinubu says he is the “better man” and he is prepared to take the country out of its present situation and into prosperity.

David Umahi – 38 votes
Pastor Tunde Bakare – 0 vote
Ahmed Rufai Sanni – 4 votes
Chibuke Rotimi Amaechi – 316 votes
Prof. Yemi Osinbajo – 235 votes
Senator Rochas Okorocha – 0 vote
Yahaya Bello – 47 votes
Tien Jack-Rich – 0 vote
Dr. Christopher Onu – 1 vote
Senator Ahmed Lawan – 152 votes
Prof. Ben Ayade – 37
Ikeobasi Mokelu – 0 vote
