AC Repairer Dies After Fall in Ogun State
A 60-year-old air conditioning technician, identified only as Najeem, tragically lost his life while working on an air conditioner at a residence on Adams Ajakaya Street near Olambe Junction in Ogun State. The incident occurred on Friday, December 13.
According to the homeowner, Abraham Popoola, Najeem, who hailed from Ikorodu in Lagos State, had come to the two-storey building to refill gas in one of the air conditioners. While performing the task, Najeem climbed a ladder holding a small gas cylinder. He reportedly lost his balance, fell to the concrete floor, and sustained fatal head injuries.
Popoola promptly reported the incident at the Ajuwon Divisional Police Station. Police officers visited the scene, documented the incident with photographs, and transported the deceased to the Life Channel Mortuary.
