Abuja-Kaduna train attack: Tinubu woos Nigerians, cancels 70th birthday colloquium in honour of victims
Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has ordered the cancellation of a colloquium organized to commemorate his 70th birthday in honour of Abuja-Kaduna train attack victims
The All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential aspirant said the event could not continue in the wake of the attack on a train heading to Kaduna state from Abuja.
He made this known on arrival at the venue of the colloquium on Tuesday, he said he cannot be celebrating and rejoicing amidst a national tragedy.
He consequently requested that all the invited guests should go home and pray for the victims of the attack.
You would recall that the Kaduna bound train was attacked by gunmen in the Kateri-Rijana area of Kaduna on Monday night.
Most of the passengers were reported to have been rescued by military men.
