The media team of the Leader of the Unity Freedom Group of the Lagos State Chapter of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and Gubernatorial aspirant of the party in Lagos State, have come out to debunk the rumours making the rounds that Engr Adedeji Doherty has decamped to the African Democratic Party (ADC) to contest as their flag bearer for the 2023 Gubernatorial elections.
The head of the media team, Honourable Muka Popoola stated that there is no iota of truth in the rumours and the stories are baseless and unfounded.
He further stated that all these are the figments of the imaginations of mischief makers and those who are usually bent on depleting the party membership by making up false accusations.
He advised these set of people to look elsewhere and desist from trying to malign the personality of Engr Doherty.
He affirmed that Engr Doherty who despite all odds has remained one of the very few leaders of the party that have vowed to stay committed to the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
Hon Muka Popoola seized the opportunity to further pledge the commitment and loyalty of Engr Adedeji Doherty to the People’s Democratic Party.
You would recall that rumours have been making the rounds that Engr Adedeji Doherty has decamped to the African Democratic party (ADC) and will be contesting as the governorship flag bearer of the party at the forthcoming elections.
It has however being confirmed that the flag bearer of the ADC is Mr Funsho Doherty a Pensions Administrator and Managing Director and CEO of Pensions Alliance Limited (PAL)
